Payroll giving

Your regular donation will help the children with special needs and their families who turn to Amy’s House throughout the year. Payroll Giving, or Give As You Earn (GAYE), is a fantastic way for you to make that regular gift. It’s a really easy way for you to donate, coming straight out of your pay. Because it is taken before tax, each £1 you donate will actually cost you less.

How it works

Payments made through a Payroll Giving Scheme are taken from your pay before tax is deducted. So, each £1 you donate to help us help families will actually cost you a lot less – depending on how much tax you pay.

For example, if you donate £10 it will cost you £8 if you pay tax at 20%. And if you pay tax at the higher rate of 40% it will only cost you £6 to make the same sized donation.

If you receive your company/personal pension through Pay As You Earn (PAYE) you can give this way too.

Did you know giving direct from your salary is one of the most efficient ways to donate to Amy’s House? Because your donation is made pre-tax, we don’t have to go back and reclaim it as Gift Aid which saves us time and paperwork! What’s more, if you pay tax at 40% or 50% it’s the only way we automatically receive all the tax on your donation, which means we can channel more of our resources doing what we do best.
